New APIs and options 1
Opt in to GraphQL 17 fragment argument syntax support across parsing, validation, type information, autocomplete, hover, and editor integrations; it defaults to false.
Fixes and other changes 4
Invalid JSON in the Variables or Headers pane now shows a plain-language error with line and column, prefixed with “Request not sent.”
Closing a tab to the right of the active tab now keeps the active tab selected; closing the active tab or a tab before it is unchanged.
Reloading a session that has not edited the editors no longer creates an extra empty tab.
Autocomplete now respects operation and fragment scope while including variables from operations that spread the current fragment.

New APIs and options 1
GraphiQLProvider and GraphiQL now expose per-scalar JSON Schema overrides, preventing spurious type errors for custom scalars that accept objects or arrays.
Fixes and other changes 1
Fira Code ligatures are disabled so valid GraphQL characters render literally instead of appearing as misleading glyphs.

Breaking changes 2
The react-compiler-runtime peer dependency has been removed.
The peer dependency is pinned to versions ≥ 0.20.0 and < 0.53 because monaco-editor@^0.53.0 is not yet supported with monaco-graphql.
Behavior and default changes 1
Passing an IntrospectionQuery result as the schema prop now builds a schema directly and skips a network introspection request.
Fixes and other changes 3
Image previews now preserve the original host when fetching URLs, instead of fetching from the current origin.
Disabling Monaco's roundedSelection option prevents multiline selection highlights from extending beyond the actual text selection.
CSS files are marked as side effects so they can be imported from JavaScript when using Webpack.
