Breaking changes 2
Labels on edges between the same two blocks stack instead of overlapping; when they do not fit, the gap between blocks grows.
Flowchart subgraphs and agentflow flows use their parent’s direction when their nodes link outside them, rather than their own direction.
New APIs and options 1
Lists diagram parts to draw in a monospace font sized to fit: class members, ER attributes, TreeView files, and sequence messages.
Behavior and default changes 2
With maxWidth set, long sequence messages use spare width when doing so lets them fit on fewer lines.
Treemaps show all nodes, fit labels at their class-set font size, provide full-name tooltips for truncated labels or hidden headers, and use tighter spacing when crowded.
Fixes and other changes 9
Custom fills on subgraphs, composite states, block composites, ER subgraphs, and use case boundaries render at full opacity instead of half opacity.
Labels on fills defined with style, classDef, rect, or box use whichever of --pele-fg-on-light and --pele-fg-on-dark contrasts more with the fill; edges and arrows on those fills stay readable too.
Percent escapes such as %20 and %26 are preserved in links.
The first click after a pinch or a long touch pan is no longer ignored.
Diagrams narrow to make room for zoom buttons when the buttons would otherwise cover text.
Errors at the end of input now point just after the last line with content, rather than past the end or after trailing comments and blank lines.
Names starting with a keyword are read in full in several diagram types, avoiding syntax errors or dropped prefixes.
Empty quadrant labels no longer prevent point labels from using their preferred position.
Leading and trailing blanks in each row are ignored.
